Sedges are a form of grasses that have similar characteristics to grasses but then have features all of their own! Commonly found in damp or wet environments sedges often have thin, blade-like leaves; wider and stronger than grasses. The flowers also tend to be different from grasses as you will see as you browse the species I have included in this book.
